Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 6pm the cookout started even though it was raining. Since it was not possible to cook outside because it was wet, the outside kitchen of brod frank Maletsky was used. They started off by gutting the fish and burning the coconut shells to start off a good fire to roast the fish. Others brought ready to eat food which was welcomed tremendously since no hardship was involved. The gathering lasted till 10pm that night. We hope to have more of these cookouts where everybody participates and old friendships are rekindled and new ones formed.	Click on the items below to see picture on the right side. Pictures to the right was taken during the 82nd anniversary of the founding of APO, December 16, 2007. The occasion was held at Public Golf Beach and Country Club Restaurant. The guest speaker was Brother Col. Roger Mijares, Beta Nu'70-Chartered Member. The gathering was a huge success, thanks to Brother Cholo Villa. December 8, 2007 was a day for the brothers to show off their athletic abilities. Even the old and decrepit tried to show off their prowess at the risk of having a massive stroke or heart attack. December 15 2007 APO supports World Aids Day at the Plaza Pershing by operating a booth for people to donate their blood for the needy. Resident Brothers and sisters of Zamboanga, with the alumni from Zamboanga and outside Zamboanga also helping. March 2, 2007 marked the 50th anniversary of APO Philippines. The APO Brothers and Sisters provided a day of hope and happiness to the orphan children located at: Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 9 assisted project of the Foundation for the Development of Children, Inc., Talon Talon, Zamboanga City, Philippines.
