| ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal- The Municipal government of Teresa in cooperation with the Bagong Henerasyon Partylist is currently holding computer skills training until May to improve computer skills of local students and teachers. | | ANTIPOLO CITY- The Teresa municipal government, through its Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), held a river cleanup and tree planting activity, April 28, in line with the celebration of Earth month. |

| The computer skills training for basic application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint started last April 23 and will end on May 18. Each session lasts for two hours per day for five days. | | The local government’s environment office organized the cleanup and tree planting guide, which was held in the morning along the local riverbanks. Participants ranged from officials and residents from the various barangays in Teresa, as well as other volunteers from other groups and organizations. |

| According to Teresa Municipal Information Officer Izy San Jose, there will be four batches of trainees for the program with a target of sixty participants per batch.
| | The cleanup drive was held and organized the local government unit, particularly MENRO, to maintain the cleanliness of the local riverbanks, and to prevent clogging and pollution, while the tree planting aims to contribute to climate change adaptation in the area. |

| The first batch will undergo training at the Abuyod National High School from April 23 to 27. The remaining batches will be trained at the Teresa municipal hall from April 30 to May 4 and May 14 to 18; and at the Pantay National High School from May 7 to 11.

| Local computer teachers are also encouraged to participate in order to further improve their computer skills to be used in teaching their students. The training itself is free of charge, taken care of the municipal government.

| Aside from basic application software training, there will also be basic computer technician sessions including computer troubleshooting and maintenance to be held for four hours a day for ten days. The training sessions will be held at the Teresa Elementary School with a target of 100 participants.
