SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela- This city’s Rescue 206 joined the nationwide earthquake drill today to inculcate public preparedness in times of calamity. | |||
The Rescue 206 earthquake drill is conducted at the De Vera’s hospital, a four-storey building which is one of the known private hospitals in Isabela. | |||
Claro Comoda, city risk reduction and management officer, said the Rescue 206 personnel coordinated with the management of the hospital for a simulation earthquake drill to prepare the hospital management on the safety procedures on instances an earthquakes occur, considering the hospital building is on a four-storey level. | |||
The Rescue 206 equipment, like ambulances and fire trucks, and its personnel, in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection and Santiago City Police Office including the Philippine Red Cross participated in the earthquake drill. | |||
