ANGELES City -- The Criminal Investigation and Detection Team-Pampanga arrested over the weekend four suspects in the recent robbery of a house being rented by Roman Catholic missionary sisters in Bgy. Cutud here. | |||
Chief Inspector Julius Caesar Mana, of the CIDT-Pampanga, said the suspects were arrested after a series of follow-up operations in this city and nearby Mabalacat town. | |||
He identified the suspects as Jonnel Rondolo, 20, of Pampanga village; Richard Tadaya, 19, and Raymond Capunga, 20, of Malabanias village; and Noel Puson, 18, of Sta. Teresita village. | |||
Another suspect, Rayvin Dayrit of Metro Clark Subdivision in Mawaque, Mabalacat, was able to elude arrest. | |||
Upon returning home on the night of Sept. 7, Catholic missionary sisters Editha Valencia and Therese Beata were shocked to see that their refrigerator, humidifier air-condition, colored TV, computer set, video camera, DVD player, VHS player, electric fan, amplifier, binocular camera, paper cutter, rosaries and other items were missing. | |||
They reported the incident to the CIDT-Pampanga that conducted follow-up operations to identify and arrest the perpetrators. | |||
At around 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 14, operatives received information that two men were selling an electric fan at a very cheap price in Doña Remedios Trinidad village here. | |||
When the lawmen arrived in the place, they arrested the three, who revealed that their companions in robbing the house of the nuns were Capunga and Dayrit. The lawmen proceeded to the residences of the two other suspects and arrested Capunga but failed to arrest Dayrit. | |||
