The most dynamic and unique sight along your journey through Echo Canyon Park will be the spectacular Camelback Mountain, which dates back to the Precambrian age, 1700 million years ago. Throughout the day, the hues of Camelback change as brilliant sun patterns dance across its surface.

As you explore the hottest and most bio-diverse desert in North America, the Sonoran Desert, chances are you will see glimpses of over 60 species of mammals, 350 kinds of birds, amphibians and reptiles. The Sonoran Desert also houses an abundance of native flora and fauna, including the ancient towering Saguaro Cactus (the skyscrapers of the desert) whose blossom is the official state flower of Arizona.
