Talaba Grill

The province of Zamboanga Sibugay boasts of the longest "Talaba Grill" in the world. Talaba is a bisaya word which means oyster. Every year Zamboanga Sibugay celebrates the festival of Sibug-Sibug and the "Talaba Grill" event is one of the highlights of the Sibug-sibug Festival.

Zamboanga Sibugay has earned the title of "Talaba Capital of the Philippines".

The talaba grill features 5 to 12 inches long talaba or oysters.
