-CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro, Jan. 19 (PIA) -- The city government strengthened its non-plastic day project by strictly implementing the ordinance which penalizes violators, said City Mayor Doy C. Leachon yesterday.
+CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro, Jan. 20 (PIA) -- The growing number of informal settlers in Calapan City will soon be addressed now that the city government has identified places that will serve as their relocation sites.
-It will be recalled that last year, Calapeños were prohibited to use non-biodegradable plastic from Fridays to Sundays. Leachon said that instead of three days, the No-Plastic Day will now be implemented everyday throughout the year.

+According to Leachon, the city government is really true to its mission of supporting Calapeños under the flagship program of his administration, “Ang Bagong Calapan.” The program has four components.
