-MAASIN CITY, Southern Leyte, May 10 (PIA) -- The provincial field office of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) here has set aside over P 2.6 million worth of livelihood projects intended for individual small-scale businesses in the so-called informal sector.
+MACROHON, Southern Leyte – “”We were surprised to find a patch of pristine forests in Mt. Nacolod, Southern Leyte. We found an amazingly impressive flora and faura. The rich forests we saw did not match the map of a denuded forest, shown to us before we explored Southern Leyte,” said Ronald Altamarino, leader of the Biodiversity Assessment Team from the Flora and Fauna, International (FFI).
-The amount was already moving in various stages of implementation as coursed through DOLE’s accredited co-partner (ACP) consisting of five municipalities and one city, involving 251 individual beneficiaries, said Fe Norma Valuis, DOLE provincial field officer.
