Western Mindanao State University Python Judo Club

History

Sensei Higinio Ramos is one of the propagators of Judo in WMSU and some other places in Zamboanga City such as barangay Boalan, barangay Zambowood.

The name PYTHON was given by Sensei Danilo Corteza and 1 colleague that i forgot the name. The official year the Python Judo Club at WMSU was in 1968. However, a year before the clubs founding, Judo was being taught on the WMSU campus as a subject in physical education, specially in criminal science defense tactics.
