CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro, Dec. 26 (PIA) – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DWSD) has launched its Electronic Procurement Transaction Monitoring System (ePTMS) which will let the public monitor the status of procurements by the department through the Internet.
The ePTMS was developed to enhance transparency in the procurement system as interested individuals can now monitor the various phases online, from pre-procurement to payment.
Initiated by the General Administrative Services, the concept was formulated by the department’s Bids and Awards Committee (BIC) while the system design and development was developed by the Management Information Systems Service (MISS).
The ePTMS is in line with the hallmarks of good governance and transparency by President Ninoy Aquino III’s administration.
Interested parties can access the system at http://eptms.dswd.gov.ph. (DOS/DSWD/Felix Armeña/Louie T. Cueto/PIA-4B)
