Salaam TV is a newly created television station by the Philippine government to promote the Muslim culture and the religion of Islam. Salaam TV will be financed by the Philippine government through the "Presidential Communications Group (Philippines)" which is under the "Office of the President of the Philippines". The focus of Salaam TV will be on the development of Muslim communities.

Salaam TV is a newly created television station by the Philippine government to promote the Muslim culture and the religion of Islam. Salaam TV will be financed by the Philippine government through the "Presidential Communications Group (Philippines)" which is under the "Office of the President of the Philippines". The focus of Salaam TV will be on the development of Muslim communities.

The TV station is set to launch on July 23, 2017. Former PTV News anchor Princess Habibah Sarip-Paudac, the first Muslim Filipina news anchor to wear a hijab on a national television newscast, will take role as the station manager.
