Parañaque City

Wars of ancient history were about possessions, territory, power, control, family, betrayal, lover's quarrel, politics and sometimes religion.

But we are in the Modern era and supposedly more educated and enlightened .

Think about this. Don't just brush off these questions.

  • Why is RELIGION still involved in WARS? Isn't religion supposed to be about PEACE?
  • Ask yourself; What religion always campaign to have its religious laws be accepted as government laws, always involved in wars and consistently causing WARS, yet insists that it's a religion of peace?

WHY??

There are only two kinds of people who teach tolerance:
  1. The Bullies. They want you to tolerate them so they can continue to maliciously deprive you. Do not believe these bullies teaching tolerance, saying that it’s the path to prevent hatred and prejudice.
  2. The victims who are waiting for the right moment to retaliate. They can’t win yet, so they tolerate.

Dietary supplement is a product that contains vitamins, minerals, herbs or other botanicals, amino acids, enzymes, and/or other ingredients intended to supplement the diet. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has special labeling requirements for dietary supplements and treats them as foods, not drugs.

Manufacturers and distributors of dietary supplements and dietary ingredients are prohibited from marketing products that are adulterated or misbranded. That means that these firms are responsible for evaluating the safety and labeling of their products before marketing to ensure that they meet all the requirements of DSHEA and FDA regulations.

PDEA chief: 3 Chinese nationals in illegal drugs case get life terms

Three Chinese nationals were given life sentences and a fine of three million pesos each, for possession of seven kilograms of shabu, in violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

In a press statement, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Director General, Undersecretary Jose S. Gutierrez, Jr. said PDEA is satisfied with the decision of the Parañaque City Regional Trial Court Branch 259.

Parañaque RTC Branch 259 found Sunxiao Xu, alias “William Chua”; Wenxian Hong, alias “Andy Hong”; and a woman XiuQin Shi, alias “Kim Sy,” guilty as charged after almost two years of trial.

“I am very much pleased that Judge Danilo V. Suarez, presiding judge of RTC Branch 259 in Parañaque City, found the evidence presented in court were solid to prove the guilt of the accused,” Gutierrez said.

Guiterrez added that the two convicts, Sunxiao and Wenxian face double life sentences, after they were also found guilty for selling almost 500 grams of shabu, while XiuQin was acquitted of the said crime.

A part of the 18-page decision reads: “… the court so holds and believes that the prosecution has established its case against the accused with moral certainty, proven the existence of elements of the offenses charged and that the corpus delicti properly established and preserved.”

In welcoming the court's decision, Gutierrez said, “The good collaboration among the different pillars of our justice system: law enforcement, investigation and prosecution, the courts, and the community, represents another victory in our unrelenting campaign against illegal drugs.”

Authorities are ordered to prepare a warrant of commitment to prison, for the immediate transfer of the two male convicts to the New Bilibid Prisons, Muntinlupa City, while the woman convict will be transferred to the Correctional Institute for Women, Mandaluyong City.

On April 18, 2010, the three were arrested in a buy-bust operation along Doña Soledad Avenue, Better Living in Parañaque City.

Greedy thief falls after trying to sell stolen van twice

A MAN wanted for carnapping and robbery-extortion made a costly mistake when he returned to places he used to frequent in Parañaque City last week and was spotted by concerned citizens who tipped off his presence to the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group. Aside from this, super greed also did him in. He tried to sell a car he had stolen twice.

On Thursday, Luis Manuel Bagsit,29, was arrested at Camella Homes, Don Bosco, Parañaque, by members of the HPG Special Operations Division-Task Force Limbas on the strength of a warrant for carnapping issued by Judge Fortunito L. Madrona of the Parañaque City Regional Trial Court Branch 274 last March 12, said PNP-HPG director Chief Supt. Leonardo A. Espina.

Espina added that operatives of the HPG SOD-Task Force Limbas under Supt. Ronald Lee apprehended Bagsit following a tip from an informant whose name was withheld for security reasons.

A background check showed that on December 10 last year, two employees of the FLR Enterprises with office at the Santa Agueda Compound, West Service Road, Parañaque City, saw Bagsit and two fellow employees named Jonefer Sillo and Nemesio Ursulum taking the company’s service Isuzu Elf van (XKJ-931).

Later, Bagsic along with one Archie Tercias and one alias Manong Abe sold the stolen van to a still unknown buyer for only P25,000.

Five days after the theft of the service van, the suspects texted company official Mrs. Francis Remolacio and urged her to redeem the vehicle for P15,000 although they had already sold it.

Mrs. Remolacio reported the matter to the police which conducted an entrapment operation that resulted in the arrest of Bagsit, Tercias and one Howell Capuno. Bagsit was able to post bail for robbery-extortion.
