Dr. Jeanette Pauline Arellano-Cortes has urged the parents to have their children immunized to prevent diseases like polio; measles; hepatitis; tuberculosis; meningitis; pneumonia; diphtheria; pertussis and; tetanus.

“Kung dili mabakunahan imong anak dako kaayo ka’g risk nga magkasakit sila ani, so maong taas pod ang atong morbidity and mortality ,meaning masakit ang mga bata kay tungod wala sila nabakunahan,” Cortes said.

The immunization covers children less than one year for Fully Immunize Child (FIC) and less than two years for Completely Immunize Child (CIC).
