This is the Civil Service Commission Region IX Satellite Office. Applications for taking the Civil Service exam may be coursed through this office, as well as applications for Civil Service Eligibility for Honor Graduates (graduates with at least a Cum Laude or a similar award in a college or graduate degree), who are exempted from taking the exam. Moreover, the office is also the venue of the Ship for South East Asian Youth Program (SSEAYP)interviews for applicants from Zamboanga. SSEAYP is a youth program that gathers young people from South East Asian countries and takes them on a cruise ship tour across six countries to promote friendship and mutual understanding.
