Ex-CAFGU Member Arrested in Tigbao

Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur – An ex-CAFGU member was arrested by elements of Tigbao MPS in Barangay Upper Nilo, Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur at about 8:30 PM of June 29, 2015. Police Senior Inspector Norbert Ferrer Velonza, Tigbao Police Station Chief, identified the arrested as Rodel Yap Y Canete, 28, residing at Barangay Tigbao.

He was arrested based on the charged for the crime of acts of lasciviousness in relation to R.A 7610 docketed under criminal case no. 11878-2k15, issued by Hon. Benjamin R. Lanzaderas, Presiding Judge, RTC-9, Branch 22, Pagadian City with P 60,000 bail recommended. The accused now temporarily detained at said police station for proper documentation prior turn-over to the issuing court
