This is a picture of a Cabatangan jeepney. The Cabatangan jeepneys are interesting for a couple of reasons. Cabatangan jeepneys follow an informal 'schedule'. To ride them, you have to wait for a jeepney from around 6:00 in the morning to around 8:30. Waiting time ranges from 15 minutes to 30 and even 45 minutes. Beyond that, there are very few passengers in town who are going back to Cabatangan, so it takes a long time for the jeepneys to go back up. They just wait in town. From town, the peak hour to ride the jeepney is around 5:00pm. Before that, you will have to wait for more than an hour (sometimes two) for the jeepney to be filled up and go to Cabatangan. During peak hours however, there are so many people lining up that people rush to get a seat. The last trips of the jeepneys is by around 7:00pm, and by this time some people squat in the middle of the jeepney, and a lot hang behind, on top and even in front of the jeepney. It's a sight to see! Initially, there were four Cabatangan jeepneys plying the route. However, one broke down so now there are only three left.
