CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro, November 23 (PIA) -- The 69 Day Care centers here received a total of 345 sacks of rice and kitchen utensils from the city social welfare office last November 11 as requirement for the city’s feeding program.

The categories or fields for nominating individuals are as follows: 1) Agriculture, 2) Arts/Culture/History, 3)Community/Humanitarian Service/Heroic Acts, 4) Ecclesiastical /Religious Work, 5) Ecological/Environmental Conservation, 6) Education, 7) Government/Public Service Recognition, 8)Literature/Journalism/Media, 9) Military/Police work, 10) Sports, 11) Youth Development, 12) Health, 13) Engineering, 14) Science/Invention, and 15) Special Recognition.
Documents to be submitted are executive summary of the candidates which includes nomination of not more than 40 pages, impact on public welfare and citywide development, participation in government (professional, socio-civic, religious organizations and non-governmental organizations), awards and recognition and impact on their fields of endeavor.
Also to be submitted are important documents like the original copy and five photocopies of nomination form and nomination book, six pieces of 2 x 2 ID pictures, original copy of birth certificate from the National Statistics Office, and original copy of NBI clearance.
A candidate is to be nominated in one category only. Nominations may be submitted anytime now until February 1 next year to the office of the Rotary Club of Calapan at the Mindoro Rescue and Training Center in barangay Camilmil. (DOS/Louie T. Cueto/PIA-4B)
