The official seal of Digos City bears the inscriptions CITY OF DIGOS Davao del Sur in the black letters with September 8,2008 as reference to the date when Digos became a component City by way of a plebisite.

Inside the circle at the topmost part is the majestic Mr. Apo, in the light green symbolizing flora and fauna.In grey color below Mt. Apo, are buildings to symbolize infranstructure projects. The blue patch at the lower left portion of the circle represents the sea while the green patch on the right portion represents agriculture. The stretch in between the two and in acid blue color represents the stretch of the highway directed towards the machinery gear in the gold with a shade of while representing economic stability.
