There is no stand alone Socialistic country that is prosperous.

There is no stand alone Communist country that is prosperous.

Socialism and communism are embraced by governments who want to control and dictate their will on the people, leading to totalitarianism. The only countries with socialistic or communist ideals who are prosperous are the ones who also embrace CAPITALISM.  These governments maintain the control by dangling free “healthcare” and “education” and welfare programs (housing and sustenance). Making the people dependent on the dictates of government leaders. These countries favor government influence or regulation over free trading dynamics. Freedom of Speech is not fully embraced in these countries. The government exercises the right of censorship.
