Keep them poor and tell them that they are RICH.
NO NO NO NO!
Don’t be poor. Be rich. Everything that we need in this world requires FUNDING.
“Rich” was never meant to to apply to our feelings or matters of the heart. That is misleading and has the negative effect of sustaining POVERTY.
Telling a person, “You may be poor but you are “rich in spirit”, is like making him smoke opium and believe in the hallucination of grandeur and salvation.
Being “rich in spirit” is a good thing. But do not associate that with poverty. Do not twist the mind of the poor into accepting poverty.
