Bayot -
Dimas Bayot, son of Ramon Gaganting-Cruz, was the brother of
Juliana Ramillano

Carillo - I know the Carillo family. My father, Ben Maletsky, had a small
flower farm in putik back in the 1950's and the Carillo family
was a very good neighbor in fact the only neighbor that he had.
I remember when we had to bring up drums of water via pahagat
(sleigh pulled by carabao). The only other neighbor was the
Ramillanos by the pantano.Juliana

Invierno
Here is a request from:
Imelda Invierno Tolitel - Niehoff
email: imeengeorgia03@yahoo.com Hello everyone there in Tumaga and to all my
relatives and friends. I just want to request the webmaster
to consider the family of Invierno to be on your list of the
families of the 70's. Invierno family headed by my late
uncle Cesar Invierno has always called Tumaga their home
even way before the 70's. Mrs. Ramona Invierno, many of
their children and grandchildren still reside there. Thank
you and more power to the people of Tumaga. If you think you
know me during my younger years, please keep in touch by
using my email address above.
Submitted by: Imelda Invierno Tolitel - The Invierno family,
headed by my late uncle Cesar Invierno, should belong to this
list. If you have any doubts, please do your own research--ask
the old folks around. This family with Ramona as the wife still
resides there in one of the homes fronting the school. They have
lived in that same house/location even before the 70's. No doubt
about that. My own family of Tolitel, moved to Tumaga in 1981,
but we used to visit the Inviernos in Tumaga even years before
that. |

The "TORRES"
family should also be considered in the list of family names
who lived in Tumaga in the early 70's and prior. simply
because, my late Father Mr. Maximo I. Torres Jr. who live in
Tumaga Interior before the 70's and married to Mrs. Fely L.
Torres and blessed with 5 children likewise, contributed
somehow in kind in many aspects to the Barangay of
Tumaga.Even before the time of Barangay captain mr. Bundio
Marcial (deceased)down to his successors Mr. Felipe
Ramillano (deceased), Dr. Romeo Dela Cruz and the incumbent
vigorous and famous kind hearted and very helpful Barangay
Captain and no other than Mr. Rodolfo Bayot can attest that
we the "Torres" clan also belongs to the list of 70's and
prior. Humbly speaking, everytime the original residents of
Tumaga sees the statues(mother mary and the angels)located
at the foot of the Tumaga Bridge (Groto) they will also
reminisce the Kindness extended by the late "JUN TORRES". In
additional to these, The late "Jun Torres" also, founded the
Catholic Charismatic in Tumaga, Led the Barangay Tanod as
well, peacemaker when trouble arises between the so-called
Batang Bato and the other brave youngster of yesteryears as
he is also one of the respected non politician personalities
in Tumaga. We, the 5 sons of late "JUN TORRES" also
Graduated from Tumaga Elementary School from early 70's to
late 70's. Until now the "TORRES" clan resides in Tumaga
Interior and our mother is still very active in various
religious work. anticipating thru the kind help of webmaster
zamboanga.com our "TORRES" family name will also be included
and posted soon in the list. contributed by:
