A magnitude-5.0 quake jolted the Sarangani province in Mindanao early Saturday morning, with the quake being felt in General Santos City. | |||
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was recorded at 6:50 a.m. and was tectonic in origin. | |||
In its bulletin, it said the quake's epicenter was traced to 103 km southwest of Sarangani. | |||
Phivolcs said the quake was felt at Intensity III in General Santos City. However, it said no damage or aftershock was expected from the quake. | |||
