Information

During my HS days my friends from Mampang would invite our circle of friends to go boating and swimming during holidays/weekends, and we used to call the place "Mangle"...lots of mangrove by then and you can find tiny fishes swimming and yeah local people are often seen fishing...and well we used enjoy it lots especially with "Saging, Mangga & Bagoong!"...all those things are lovely to reminisce as we grow older.....and since my family is now residing in Mampang we kinda like it though potable water has always been scarce, too muddy "malodo" during rainy seasons, no telephone lines...however, life goes on with Mampang residents and hopefully "El maga POLITIKO" will be able to help us out with all these dire circumstances especially with drainage, water and concrete streets & lights....so that Mampang will be safer and cleaner...and hopefully in spite of the high rising residential areas with the "new residents---the Bisayas, Ilonggos & Muslim tribes" it would become a top priority of Politikos to keep it safer, cleaner and beautiful for the very fact that it is quite near to Zamboanga City Proper. We don't want to be known as "Killing Field" anymore but instead "Oasis of Hope, Harmony & Progress" if need be! Viva Mampang!
