im a native of tugbungan infact i grow up and have finished college living in this baranagay,.the bularan area which you mentioned was my environment, infact we do what you call skill work like filleting the fish or so called pakas,we dont really mind the fish odor, its been around us so we dont take notice of that anymore, its only the visistors who will take notice of the fishy smell,to us its money, coz the more fish the more money we have from drying to packing,it involve a lot of labor force like us.my father have been supervising a bularan for so many years, and proudly,he was able to send me to college.the then mayor maria clara lobregat once mention that residents from that bularan area seldom go to her office to ask for employmen of that sort, its not easy job.you have to be under the heat of the sun when the fish will be dried, but its better job thatn no job at all..i still have so many fond memories of tugbungan my dear barangay...tiil then gracias
