i"ve been in zamboanga 3 times and i was shocked on the abrupt increase in fare to 50%. I think it is unfair to the passengers because if you ride the tricycle even if the distance is less than a kilometer it costs you P20 or more. And if you argue with the tricycle driver, they will put you in shame, shout at you and sometimes throw your money on your face if the drivers wanted more than you paid them..In fact the rate is only 8 pesos per kilometer.Maybe the city officials don't monitor these.Besides, people are keep on spitting and people are loittering everywhere.....i can see only few for foreigner..the city is a mess....i hope you will publish this message so that others will be aware of the short comings they have and others may be aware of what kind of place is zamboanga city.
