I left tugbungan in 1987,i never went home since, i miss our beautiful barangay so much,i now live in illinois usa, base on the story and experinces of my visinos of tugbungan who went home to visit our bario, it seem's like our bario has turn into a noisy dirty little city, it's depressing to hear all this sad stories, they may have change our bario but they can never change our childhood memories, just don't forget we were there first and we saw it all, the plazer..,my dad use to take me and my brothers fly kite and some times climb coconut to get some butung, don't get me wrong my aunt charing seibert use to own part of the area, our house is by the river bank's and every time rainy season comes flood comes with it and every time we have a big flood,me and fiends just sit's there by the river bank's and watch all sorts of stuff floating away to barrigon,my visinos the delosantos own the lansones farm on the other side of the river, during harvest time we use to get some scrap lansones that was falling off the tree and take it back to the river were we use to swim and play all day, some times me my friends will bury a raw banana under the sand wrap on a dry banana leaf and come back in a few days later and enjoy a sweet ripe bananas,we some times go to the simintera (ricefield) just to take siesta at noon it's so quiet all you hear is the bird chirping and the wind blowin through the payak, back then we use to know our visinos from falcatan to the ledesma at the torre, the fernandez, delosantos, madrazo, faustino, dagalea, our friends at johny's iron works area, the alavars, climaco all the way to chimangs place, the fried banana and the caldo baka at the falcasantos at the end of the strip.i can't wait to back home some day hopefully by the next year or so,,,,...
