Information

Hi Don! Thanks for the beautiful story about Tugbungan. I once lived ther too. I'm not quite sure what year was that when you were just 11 years old, lol! Just jpking, but I haved lived in the area from 1988 to 1992. The names you have mentioned sounds all familar to me, and I got lots of friends in Tugbungan too. I just rented a house in Natividad Drive (hope I'm right with the street name) But I'm sure it is along the street which we call Don alfaro Street that starts from Tetuan. I used to go visit some friends in the "bularan" area. The stench sometimes is bad, but the people are friendly, and it's quite an experience to see how people used to make "pakas" the fish and eventually be sold. Do you still live in Tugbungan? I now live in Perth, westen Australia. I knew some people there like the late Bong Saavedra and his family, the Pioquintos, some are teachers of the ZCHS. I would love to hear more about Tugbungan if you have time. I know it is still a nice place to live despite the increase in number of residents. When I left Tugbungan, there's still an ample lot of spaces with coconut trees not yet developed into housing. Does it still exist? Hope to hear your new posting. Muchas gracias contigo. Cheers
